Tarcíso Albuquerque

Tarciso Albuquerque is a native of Salvador, Bahia, and admits that his passion for photography began in Christmas 2008 with the purchase of his first camera, capturing beautiful and nostalgic moments.

He states that, over time, he learned that photography is not just about taking good photos, but it expands with the soul's gaze, capable of translating inspiration and generating feelings in those who are willing to perceive art as a portrait of life, the everyday moments of people and cities.

Now, his work invites everyone to take on the challenge of turning their eyes to the beauties of Chapada Diamantina, the multicultural city of Salvador, and other capitals and places that, far beyond the urban landscape, inspire so many people in so many parts of the world. Through its colors, his work portrays the diversity of culture, the beauty of nature, and the contagious joy of the soul of all.
