Alessio Trerotoli

Alessio Trerotoli is an Italian photographer, born and raised in Rome. He studied art and cinema in Rome, and traveled through Europe, the United States, and South America, discovering that he was particularly inspired by the cities he visited. He blends street photography with abstract art, and specializes in conceptual urban photography. Trerotoli juxtaposes multiple photos and duplicates certain elements: "I want to beautify reality without betraying traditional urban photography," he explains, "but by proposing a new vision of the cities."

Since 2013, his series Urban Melodies and Raindrop Blues have received a dozen awards, notably the Gold Award from the WPE International Photographers Awards in 2020, and have been exhibited in Rome, Beijing, Milan, and Chicago.
