Duilio Fonda

Duílio Fonda is an Argentine artist born in 1959 in the La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires. He studied at the Otto Krause National College of Technical Education and participated in workshops led by artists such as Alberto Jaime, Mario Mosteiro, Aldo Grau, Fredy Martinez Howard, and Miguel Caride during the 1970s and 80s.

Fonda's artistic tendencies are rooted in the Río de la Plata Constructivist school, influenced by the work of Uruguayan artist Joaquín Torres García, which had a significant impact in Argentina and Uruguay. Over time, he diversified his techniques, experimenting with abstract expressionism and post-avant-garde styles.

Currently, Duílio Fonda lives and works in Buenos Aires, where he continues to create his art. He teaches and paints in various cultural spaces throughout the city, demonstrating his evolution as a visual artist and his commitment to promoting culture and art in Argentina.
